BOCA BACCHANAL Welcomes 400+ to 2-Day Celebration of Exquisite Wine & Food + Pix 1-6 (1 of 2)

BOCA RATON, Fla. - May 27, 2022 - PRLog -- (Boca Raton, FL – May 24, 2022) The always popular BOCA BACCHANAL, an annual celebration of fine wine and food benefitting the Boca Raton Historical Society, welcomed more than 400 ticket buyers when it returned earlier this month for two delicious nights:

Friday, May 6 – Vintner Dinners

Held in four beautiful private homes and the historic Boca Raton Train Depot, each dinner spotlighted a specific winery and vintner and featured 5-course dinners prepared by renowned chefs, including:

• Hosts Joyce & Thom DeVita and Joni & Al Goldberg offered wines by Château La Nerthe with vintner Christophe Bristiel, and food prepared by Chef Jeff Tunks from Corvina Seafood Grill in Boca Raton, and Chef Chris Clime with PassionFish in Reston VA.
• Hosts Marie & Rick Wackhut offered wines from DAOU Vineyards and vintner Chris Baker, plus an amazing meal prepared by Chefs Brian & Shanna O'Hea, longtime restaurateurs who are now focusing on their new culinary company, Maine Lobster Pot Pie.
• Hosts LeAnn & Russell Berman and Holly & David Meehan served wines from Silver Oak & Twomey Cellars with vintner Tim Duncan, and food prepared by Chef Eric Baker from Rebel House in Boca Raton.
• Hosts Arina & Francis Feeney offered wines from Sr. Francis Winery & Vineyards along with vintner Katie Madigan. The scrumptious meal was prepared by Chef Roger Brock from the Boca West Country Club.
• Hosts Maria & Todd Roberti served tasty wines by Masi Agricola with vintner Tony Apostolakos. The food was prepared by Chef/Owner Salvatore Spina and Chef Emilia Egusquiza from Casareccio Trattoria in Pompano Beach.

Saturday, May 7 – The Grand Tasting at The Boca Raton

At this event, held at the legendary resort, 170 different wines from more than 40 first class wineries and distributors offered incredible samplings, as did numerous local eateries, including 10 Stations by The Boca Raton, Eat District Healthy Asian Bowl, Ganzo Sushi, KakaoZon Chocolate, Kapow Noodle Bar, New York Grilled Cheese, The Poké Company, Prezzo, Proper Ice Cream, Ramen Lab Eatery, Seagate Hotel, and Sicilian Oven. The Grand Tasting was held in the Grand Ballroom in the Mizner Center at The Boca Raton, and included a silent auction of wine, dining, travel, and lifestyle packages.
