BeRex Granted Patent for Control Circuit for a Radio Frequency Power Amplifier

GANGNAM-GU, South Korea - May 24, 2022 - PRLog -- BeRex Corp., a leader in Internet of Things radio frequency (RF) front-end IC products, is pleased to announce the issuance by the U.S. Patent Office of its RF front-end design  patent, US 11,190,152 B2 "CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR A RADIO FREQUENCY POWER AMPLIFIER", dated November 30, 2021.  This issued patent brings BeRex's RF IC design patent portfolio to a total of 22 issued and active patents, 2 pending patents.

US Patent US 11,190,152 B2 provides an innovative circuit to maintain a stabilization over ambient temperature and signal burst duration for a highly linear RF CMOS power amplifiers (PA). Heating structures are embedded inside the die and utilize the standard semiconductor process flow. Electrical control signals applied to heating structures at the beginning of RF signal burst allow linearity parameters (i.e. EVM) to maintain the stability over the wide ambient temperature range as well as at different burst width and duty cycle. This innovation can be applied to any CMOS power amplifiers which require a high degree of linearity.  Example applications would be 802.11ac/ax PA.
