South Florida Startup Launches Document Request App for Small Businesses

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - May 23, 2022 - PRLog -- Quantive Software, LLC, the latest software startup to hit the South Florida tech scene, announces the launch of its new app, UpLink (https://www.uplinkapp.io/).  UpLink is designed for professional service firms to easily and securely request, track and review documents from their clients.

"Big companies already have software like this that makes their lives easier. It's the little guy that we're aiming to help – bringing enterprise software to the small shops," said co-founder Alex Maher. Alex Maher and co-founder Alex Grant both worked at a Big 4 accounting firm developing in-house software for use by the firm's auditors and accountants. Alex & Alex recruited Nick Yarmesch as a third co-founder to help realize the vision of the company.

"For smaller firms, the reality is that most document requests currently go through email, which is not encrypted and not secure. It's also incredibly hard to track the status of each request when using email, and people often resort to long checklists and unnecessary meetings or calls. UpLink allows you to see the status of all document requests in one simple, easy-to-use dashboard," said co-founder Nick Yarmesch.

UpLink is built on the AWS cloud and uses strong encryption for all data, both in transit and at rest. Pricing for the software is not based on the subscription model, but rather based on actual usage. "We didn't want to charge people on a subscription basis for a website they're not using. This gives us the incentive to make the website better so people use it more. It aligns our profitability with our client's profitability – that is, when they're closing deals and finalizing transactions or projects," said Maher.
