Frontier Airlines Refund Policy
  • Any flight cancelations within 24 hours from the flight booking, provided the booking was made at least one week earlier to the flight departure, are free from cancelation charges and can request a refund on the total flight price.
  • Refundable ticket cancelations may invite variable flight charges depending upon the flight route, destination, and fare type, and a refund over the whole ticket cost can be raised. The final refund will be this total cost minus the cancelation charges.
  • Nonrefundable tickets cannot raise refunds on any charges except the government taxes and charges.
  • If Frontier canceled a flight due to some reason, then a complete refund can be expected on both refundable tickets and otherwise.
  • Nonrefundable tickets can expect a travel credit or voucher as a refund, and this credit or refund can be used within the next year to pay for Frontier reservations and services.
  • The original vendor of the ticket will have to be contacted for refunds. Those who brought the ticket from a travel agency will have to reach out to that same agency.
  • A partially used ticket can raise a refund request on the unused part of the ticket.

It usually takes 7-21 days since the refund request was raised to get a refund from Frontier Airlines in the same bank account from which the payments were made. Those who used a credit or debit card for the payments can expect quicker refunds within 7-10 days.

How to raise a Frontier Flight refund request?

If one has bought the ticket directly from Frontier or one of its direct associates, they can use the Frontier website or their mobile application to get a refund on their canceled flights or contact Frontier Airline service. However, if the flight has to be canceled, then:
  • Get on the Frontier homepage and click on "Manage Booking."
  • Enter the flight reservation details and search for the flight.
  • Click on "Cancel" and confirm the cancelation by paying the charges, if any.
  • The refund can be requested from this portal or from the cancelation email's refund link.

How to contact Frontier customer service?
  • Click on "Contact Us" under the "Need help" menu on the Frontier homepages bottom.
  • The new webpage will display the contact numbers and other customer service options.
