"We are so excited to be taking Messiah on tour, starting in London on 22 October this year and coming to a town or city near you. We can't wait to get on the road so that we can all enjoy singing Messiah together!" Each event will run from 10am-7pm and Ben will lead singers through twelve choruses from Messiah before conducting a concert performance with soloists and organist. All events are open to everybody, whether or not they have sung with Choir of the Earth before. The first event will take place in St Gabriel's Church Pimlico in London on Saturday 22 October 2022. Tickets cost £50 and include a resource pack with everything singers will need to learn and practice their parts in preparation for the event. The number of tickets is capped at 280 and these are already selling quickly. Choir of the Earth, staying true to its online roots, will also livestream the full day for those who want to join in but are unable to attend in person. The cost of a livestream ticket is £25 and includes the same resource pack as in-person attendees plus exclusive conversations and interviews. The Choir is honoured to be joined by Richard Gowers on piano and organ, and soloists from world-class chamber choir Fieri Consort. The Come and Sing Messiah Tour will go on the road after London, with events currently planned for: November 2022: Cardiff & Bristol December 2022: Birmingham January 2023: Manchester February 2023: Edinburgh March 2023: Belfast 13 April 2023: Dublin May / June / July 2023: USA and Canada August / September 2023: Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden October 2023: Spain and Portugal November 2023: Germany, France and Belgium December 2023: Australia, New Zealand and Far East The Choir hopes to announce further details of the dates and venues for its UK events at its annual 'Hallelujah Day' celebration on 31 May. Mark would love to hear from anyone who would like the Tour to visit them and feels there would be enough local demand: mark@choiroftheearth.com The Choir also hopes to livestream as many events as possible, so singers around the world can sing with their global choral family, even from thousands of miles away.
