The Book of Quint is the written to celebrate the 50th Anniversary to Jaws, which is approaching in 2025. The Book of Quint is the prequel to Jaws--the prequel that Spielberg always wanted to do as a follow-up to his hit movie back in the 70's. The book follows clues and characters from the movie Jaws and creates an entire backstory to Quint, the fearless fisherman made famous by Robert Shaw's performance in the movie.

50 years ago, Peter Benchley was writing the manuscript for the novel Jaws in 1972. By January, 1973, he would turn the manuscript into his publisher and the rest was history. The book was then made into one of the finest films ever to touch the silver screen, with the release of Jaws in 1975.

50 years later, history is ready to repeat itself. The 50th anniversary of Jaws is fast approaching and the universe is lining up for a Jaws prequel. The story of Quint that Steven Spielberg originally wanted to do as a second Jaws film, but Universal had other ideas, still has time to get made.

This is not just the writing of a novel; this is a chance for all fans of the movie Jaws to come together and show a demand for a prequel to be made by Universal Studios. With your pledge, not only will you experience the Book of Quint as a published novel, but the numbers will be sent to Universal to show them the demand is there for more to the story of Jaws.
