My name is Lisamarie and I created Scatterbrain in 2011, after a life changing cancer diagnosis, that led me to discover my love for sewing as therapy through my chemo treatments. I have a whole line of silly characters named 'octopals', a super snuggly sloth named Sully, and a whole family of bat buddies that double as finger puppets & wristlets! I have a full line of products with my illustrations and an ever growing character base to share with all of you! An octopal is an octopus pal with stubby legs, wonky eyes, and a squishy body that are the cutest cuddly friends you could ever ask for! We've been hand making them for 10 years now (crazy!) and were growing our collection! That's why we're here to let you all in on our newest additions to the Scatterbrain fam! Scatterbrain creates adorable plush toy characters that spark creative play through sensory engagement for kids & adults. There plush toy line up includes squishy octopus characters called "octopals", a snugly sloth that provides calming hugs with his velcro hands, and a family of anxiety soothing wearable bat buddies that double as finger puppets. They also create an illustrated line of arts and crafts products such as coloring posters, stencil kits, sketchbooks, and pencils illustrated with the whole Scatterbrain family of characters. We are eager to reach our goal so we can progress forward with the manufacturing of our new line up! We hope you can join us for our journey and see what we have lined up next!
