First Coast Cultural Center names Toni Thomas as programs manager

Toni Thomas has been named as the Programs Manager at First Coast Cultural Center. She will be responsible for ensuring the consistent achievement of the Center's mission while overseeing and continually assessing the nonprofit's activities.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - May 11, 2022 - PRLog -- Toni Thomas has been named as the Programs Manager at First Coast Cultural Center. She will be responsible for ensuring the consistent achievement of the Center's mission while overseeing and continually assessing the nonprofit's activities. Thomas will develop, plan, and evaluate classes and programs for children and adults in arts education, camps, and workshops with writing outlines and descriptions, and pricing. She will also coordinate the Sound Connections® Music Therapy (SCMT) program, and Kick StART after school arts enrichment programs and services.

Thomas will oversee the nonprofit's artist memberships, gift market, and exhibitions. She will also develop and manage grants and funding sources and seek venues and partners in the community along with marketing, social media, and processing requests.

According to Donna Guzzo, First Coast Cultural Center's President and Executive Director, Thomas's vast knowledge and experience in the nonprofit program and project administration field is a valuable asset to the arts organization. "We are delighted to have Toni join us. Her decade in management and education for social services and community organizations will bring a high level of professionalism to the nonprofit," said Guzzo.

Thomas holds a Master of Arts degree in Women's Studies from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL. First Coast Cultural Center hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, with after hour appointments available. Classes and programs are held at 3972 3rd St. S. in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and at CareConnect+, 351 Town Plaza Ave. in Nocatee, Ponte Vedra, Fla.
