ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - May 10, 2022 - PRLog -- Amelia May Johnson is on the ballot for Clark County, Arkansas Justice of the Peace District 8 as an independent. According to voting registration records, Amelia May Johnson should have a good chance at winning the position, because ninety-two percent of Clark County voters are registered as unaffiliated.

Amelia is a self-employed small business owner specializing in website design. She grew up in Clark County, and considers her view of government as "Christian Democracy". Seeking to build a coalition around herself that ranges from Trump Conservatives to Bernie Progressives, Amelia wants to represent everyone and not just the people she agrees with. She is endorsed by the Reform Party.

Amelia decided to run for Justice of the Peace because the county website has not been updated since about 2004. Most of the people it lists as county representatives are out of office and most of the email links are dead. If the county couldn't even update its website in over fifteen years, she wondered what other tasks it hadn't handled in that time.
