Since that first concert, the SSO has presented many wonderful top quality full-orchestra concerts for this community. Our Symphony Chorus joined the SSO family in 2016, rapidly earning a nationwide reputation of excellence, and was one of the outstanding choruses featured in Distinguished Concerts International's 2018 Presidents' Day Concert presentation of the Mozart "Requiem" at Carnegie Hall. DCINY has extended an open invitation to the chorus to return. The SSO has presented internationally renowned soloists from all over the globe, performing music of the greatest composers of the past and the present.
