QuickHaven Transitional Shelters Made It Into The 2022 Cohort Of The REDF Accelerator Group

ROHNERT PARK, Calif. - May 6, 2022 - PRLog -- REDF Accelerator program brings together a select group of 18 company leaders from across the U.S. who operate "employment social enterprises," or ESEs.  ESEs are companies that focus not only on profit but on making an impact in their communities through progressive hiring policies that favor those with barriers to job entry.  Dan Bodner and QuickHaven Inc have been awarded a spot in this prestigious cohort, which also features a $20,000 grant.

The REDF Accelerator program runs for five months and aims to increase each company's impact through coaching by experts as well as sharing and learning amongst the cohort itself. While providing a transitional shelter to homeless people, QuickHaven also creates employment opportunities for those transitioning from homelessness.  Through the REDF program, QuickHaven hopes to expand its impact on formerly homeless and/or incarcerated individuals.  Those selected to work at QuickHaven have the opportunity to engage in meaningful work to help others like themselves while at the same time earning a living wage and regaining a life of independent living.
