Jason Benson Announces Ongoing Project At The Former Danzig Motel On Chappell Road

Skyren Concrete Owner Details Current Work On City of Refuge's 31-Unit Community For Men

DALLAS, Ga. - May 5, 2022 - PRLog -- Jason Benson, owner of Skyren Concrete, announced they are assisting with the ongoing construction of The 345, which will be City Of Refuge's second affordable housing project.  Formerly known as The Danzig Motel, one of the only Black-owned motels in Atlanta, The 345 will transform the site that's been abandoned for over 20 years, into a 31-unit community that will primarily serve Black men from Atlanta's West Side.

Included in the concrete pour, Skyren Concrete will be completing all of the footings, elevator shafts, concrete steps, sidewalks, entrances and the patio for the three-floor housing community.

"We are humbled by the opportunity to help with a project that will positively impact so many deserving men," said Benson. "To know that my company had a part in constructing the facility that will be the home of so many legitimate second chances, is truly an incredible feeling."
