NYFW + Aveda Educator Angel Johnson Featured in Modern Salon Magazine

ATLANTA - May 2, 2022 - PRLog -- Angel Johnson is a renowned hairstylist and educator based in Atlanta. She's been featured in Modern Salon Magazine following her appearance in Next Fest, a carnival-inspired show that features reputable artists from around the world.

Recently, Angel appeared in the Next Fest event that showcased their first-ever festival-inspired hair looks. Next Fest invites worldly and local notable artists to take the stage in Houston and Nashville. Guests were welcomed to watch amazing artists, listen to music, dance, and get temporary or permanent tattoos. There were five up-close intimate stages with demonstrations. As well as interactive festival-inspired experience stations. Modern Salon featured Angel Johnson as she took the stage and displayed her skills.

Angel is excited because "I was excited to bring the Modern Mystic aesthetic to the stage. It brings me joy to participate in events like Next Fest because it allows us a creative platform to show all of the different beautiful textures of hair. This is so important, especially with initiatives like the Crown Act bringing these subjects to the forefront."

Angel's appearance in Nashville follows her Next Fest appearance in Houston. Her work has also appeared on reputable stages such as New York Fashion Week, Brooklyn Fashion Week, and Miami Swim Week.
