Richard Petty's Blue Jeans and Boots Fundraiser Set for May 18!

ASHEBORO, N.C. - April 27, 2022 - PRLog -- Richard Petty's Blue Jeans and Boots Fundraiser is back, and set for Wednesday evening, May 18!  This is a rare opportunity for race fans to spend some time with NASCAR King Richard Petty, see where he lives, tour the Petty Museum, and support the Petty Family Foundation.  Richard is a charter member of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, with a record 200 career race wins, and seven NASCAR Cup Series Championships.  All proceeds from this year's event will go to benefit the Petty Family Foundation.

"The Petty Family Foundation supports a number of charities, with a particular focus on helping kids and veterans," said Rebecca Petty Moffitt, executive director of the Petty Family Foundation.  "This event is always a lot of fun, but it also gives us an opportunity to let everyone know more about the mission of our Foundation.  And it gives Daddy a chance to thank folks in person for their donation."

The evening will kick-off with free tastings from local Distilleries, by local craft beer companies, and by Tito's Vodka.  The tastings will be followed by a silent auction, live music, and other activities.

"If you want to join us this year, you can purchase tickets in advance at a special discount price of $150 per person, or sponsor a table for $1,200.  The single ticket price goes up to $200 after April 1," said Shannon Newman, director of the Petty Family Foundation. "We will also celebrate the King's 85^th birthday".
