About Classic 107.3 The Radio Arts Foundation, a St. Louis-based not-for-profit, operates the "Classic 107.3" station on analog radio at 107.3 FM and on hybrid digital radio at WFUN 96.3 HD2. In addition to classical compositions, Classic 107.3 plays chamber, choral, symphonic, jazz and blues music; opera; and Broadway show tunes. The station features local programming including the "Slatkin Shuffle", hosted by St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) Conductor Laureate Leonard Slatkin; "Tango with Cally", hosted by SLSO musician Cally Banham; "Re-Choired Listening" with Phillip Barnes; "Bach & Beyoncé" with Maria Ellis; and "Diary of a Musician" with Leon Burke. Weekday hosts are Kathy Lawton Brown, Tom Sudholt, and Julie Schuster. Classic 107.3 created the award-winning Musical Ancestries™ program to teach school-aged children about their musical and cultural heritage; the broadcasts are voiced by local students and educational resources accompany each episode.
