Nu-Rock Technology Wins Sixth CCIA's Annual Mining Cleantech Challenge
The sixth annual Mining Cleantech Challenge featured 12 companies from the United States, Canada, and Australia. Each company was selected through a competitive vetting process by leaders and technology experts in the mining industry and were invited to present virtually. Technologies introduced at the Mining Cleantech Challenge offered sustainable solutions to the mining industry.
"I was humbled to have our company Nu-Rock Technology awarded first place in the sixth annual Mining Cleantech Challenge. Not realizing how high the fantastic level of judges reviewing the challenge made it an excellent experience, and it was exciting to be able to provide the judges with an answer within the time frame. The questions asked were straightforward and showed a high understanding of what Nu-Rock Technology can provide. I found the experience and opportunity to present directly to mining industry leaders extraordinarily positive and beneficial to the success of Nu-Rock Technology and its future endeavors," said Managing Director & Founder, Maroun Rahme.
Clearflow Group was the second-place winner, with Growing Greener Innovations coming in third place.
"The Mining Cleantech Challenge provides an opportunity to bring together innovators and mining industry leaders" said Mary Austin, CCIA's executive director. "This year's winners highlighted the importance of pushing the technological boundaries and advancing efficiency, processes, and productivity in the mining space.
CCIA and its sponsors, who act as judges, were extremely impressed with the caliber of the companies that presented in this sixth iteration of the MCC.
