AKCP Protects and Monitors Aviation Industry
AKCP, the world's oldest and largest supplier of networked wired and wireless sensor solutions supplies the aviation maintenance industry with sensor monitoring.
Lufthansa Technik - International and GE Aviation Systems - Australia have deployed AKCP monitoring devices and sensors in their aviation repair workshops to ensure compliance with the temperature and humidity requirements for the storage and repair of aircraft parts.
GE Aviation Systems - Australia, have been using AKCP monitoring devices for more than 10 years. They Initially installed sensorProbe8 devices at their main facility in Australia, and several sensorProbe4's at remote sites. The system is integrated with their ERP system, which collects the sensor data and logs it every 15 minutes. This data is tabulated and provided to regulatory auditors. The units have operated flawlessly for over 10 years. Due to advancements in IT security, GE Aviation Systems are now upgrading their units to the AKCP sensorProbeX+
GE Aviation Systems are considering AKCP's monitoring platform, AKCPro Server. This provides centralized monitoring of all AKCP devices, graphing, alerts, and reports. PDF reports are digitally signed in accordance with the standards for legally binding digital documents, the FDA CFR 21 Part 11. If these PDF documents are edited in any way, the digitally encrypted signature is destroyed rendering the documents inadmissible in court, or for submission to regulatory bodies.
AKCP established in the USA in 1981, has 30+ years experience in professional sensor solutions. AKCP created the market for networked temperature, environmental and power monitoring in the data center. Today with over 150 employees and 200,000 installations, AKCP is the world's oldest and largest manufacturer of networked wired and wireless sensor solutions.
