Follow on Google News | Charity Soccer Match with Bellevue City MayorKirkland's iMiracleProject is organizing a Charity Soccer Match on April 23, 2022, with presentations and appearances by local sports and political luminaries. The match will help raise funds for the Ukraine Emergency Fund.
By: iMiracleProject Kirkland-based humanitarian non-profit iMiracleProject has been hosting a series of sports events to raise awareness and funds for direct support of Ukraine residents and refugees. This Saturday, April 23, 2022, iMiracleProject will host a Charity Soccer Match from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm at Bellevue High School Stadium. Tickets can be reserved with any donation amount through eventbrite.com or at the location. See below for details: https://www.eventbrite.com/ The abbreviated match— in two 30-minute halves—will feature appearances by Bellevue Mayor Lynne Robinson, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Jared Nieuwenhuis (former professional soccer player for the Netherlands) Other soccer and sports luminaries attending will include: Cliff McCrath—SPU soccer coach. Led team to 5 NCAA championships, and Stuart Lee—English Premier League, former forward Peter Hattrup—2 NCAA Titles, former Falcons forward Mark Metzger—NCAA Champion, XF Soccer Coach Lolita Yermak—award- Earlier this month, iMiracleProject hosted an additional sports-centered fundraising event "Sweat for Ukraine" with Oksana Masik and Vlad Kulikov of KBT Boxing Team. As military assaults relentlessly continue in Ukraine iMiracleProject has held to its long-term mission of offering refugees and residents essential support. iMiracleProject has continued to gather medical supplies, including First Aid Kits, medical sutures, and tourniquets. These supplies— packed in boxes—are being transported directly to Ukraine every month to be hand-delivered to hospitals by trusted coordinators. Serge Bagdasarov, Executive Director of the iMiracleProject, recently shared on iMiracle Project's Facebook page about his 2 aunts from Ukraine who recently arrived in Seattle. He also emphasizes that iMiracleProject is grateful to the corporations who have offered assistance with the iMiracleProject's mission. These corporations and companies include LSI Credit Solutions, Absolute Insurance Solutions, Medkupon, Evergreen Home Loans, Orion Sports and Educational Center, Brodsky Real Estate, Intra Flooring, and many others.
