Global Learning Charter Public School Honors Sponsors of their Global Gala

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. - April 20, 2022 - PRLog -- Global Learning Charter Public School (GLCPS), a tuition-free public charter school that currently services 500 students in grades 5-12, has announced the sponsors of their Global Gala which will be held on April, 30, 2022.

The Summa Cum Laude sponsors include BayCoast Bank, Bristol County Savings Bank and HR Knowledge. Their Magna Cum Laude sponsors include Arrowstreet Architects, Construction Management Services and Sylvia Group of Insurance Agencies. Cum Laude sponsors include First Citizens Federal Credit Union, Halloran, Luckoff, Smith & Tierney, PC, JJ Cardosi, Inc., Sodexo and Tom and Liddy Davis.

The Global Gala is the largest scholarship fundraiser, providing scholarships to graduating seniors and to sophomores and juniors who are attending special summer academic programming at colleges and universities. In the past GLCPS has sent students to summer programs at Brown University, the University of Glasgow and University College Dublin.  The event will be held at the Allendale Country Club in Dartmouth, MA.

Launched in 2002 as a Horace Mann charter school, GLCPS became a Commonwealth charter school in 2006.
