E-commerce enabler startup Etaily secures $4.3M in funding

MANILA, Philippines - April 19, 2022 - PRLog -- Startup e-commerce enabler Etaily secures $4.3 million in seed extension round. This guarantees the company $5.9 million in total funding.

Gokongwei Group investment arm JG Digital Equity Ventures spearheaded the funding in partnership with the country's industry leaders and owners of Century Pacific Group, Landmark Department Store, and Abenson.com.

Through its Gobi-Core Fund PH, regional partners such as Gobi Partners returned for this round of funding alongside notable investors Ayala Ventures, Foxmont Capital, and Kenji Narushima, Chief Strategy Officer of CARRO.

Part of the new capital will be utilized to aid Etaily's push for a regional extension and continue its efforts to develop unique solutions for its brand partners. This includes an initiative to help the Philippine e-commerce market through an offline-to-online (O2O) cloud software that incorporates offline point-of-sales, allowing instant commerce and fulfillment out of stores.

The company's short time in the industry has been fruitful. Etaily has aided the efforts of more than 20 brands, including Landmark, Midea, Toshiba, and Terranova, to establish their online retail stores.
