Local Mom and Experienced Business Professional Launches Home Helpers Home Care in Central Clark Co

Home Helpers Home Care offers the industry's leading model for comprehensive care with its unique care program, Cared-4SM, which provides the four necessary components to living independently.

VANCOUVER, Wash. - April 19, 2022 - PRLog -- Heather Deringer understands the challenges of helping a loved one age in place. Now she's looking forward to putting her own experience to use as the owner of her own Home Helpers Home Care, which just launched in Clark County.

"I was the main caregiver for my mother-in-law and, while it's a gift to help a loved one continue to live wherever they call home, I also know how exhausting it can be to provide care while juggling the needs of your own family. That's where a caregiver can help," Deringer said. "I'm passionate about being able to help people age in place longer and to support their families."

Home Helpers Home Care offers the industry's leading model for comprehensive care with its unique care program, Cared-4SM, which provides the four necessary components to living independently. This includes Personal Care and Companionship, Nutrition and Meal Planning, 24/7 Emergency Response, and Wellness Calls to help ensure medications and hydration are maintained. Deringer's new franchise provides care services in Vancouver, Camas, Hockinson, Orchards, Mt. Vista, Brush Prairie, Cascade Park, Evergreen, Salmon Creek, Hearthwood and the surrounding areas.

Deringer and her husband, Jeff, moved to Clark County when they were married more than 26 years ago and they've raised their three children – one now in college and two in high school – in the Clark County Community. Deringer has a background in marketing and communications and was looking for a change as her children became more independent.

"I looked at a number of opportunities, but when I found Home Helpers, it just resonated with me. I understand what families are going through and I can clearly see how Home Helpers can make a difference. I chose Home Helpers Home Care specifically because of the Cared-4 program – it's an industry-leading concept and allows my team to provide the right kind of care for every client," Deringer said. "I'm proud to be part of the Home Helpers family and I'm excited to have an opportunity to make a difference in the community I love."

Families looking for dependable, in-home care by caregivers who are fully trained, background checked, and insured can call Home Helpers for a free in-home consultation. During this visit, Deringer's team will conduct an in-home assessment to create an effective and financially-conscious care plan.
