Join in the Fun at the 30th Annual Walk with the Animals

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - April 18, 2022 - PRLog -- It's the 30^th anniversary of the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center's Walk with the Animals! After two years of going virtual, this beloved event is back in person and will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 9am – 1pm at Fairmount Park in Riverside. Support the effort to create a more humane Riverside and make plans to join over 1,200 pet owners and pet enthusiasts at the Walk with the Animals, presented by DCH Subaru of Riverside. This event raises critical funds used for the care of the thousands of homeless animals helped by Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center and its programs and services each year.

Registration is only $40 for adults and $30 for students of any age and can be completed at petsadoption.org. Registered participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and pancake breakfast, with fun incentives offered for those who receive donations of at least $100.

On April 30th, onsite registration will begin at 9am and the Walk will start at 10am, after a Blessings of the Animals. Following the 1.5-mile walk, attendees can shop from the vendor village (with yummy food options for pets & humans), burn off energy at the Kids Zone, participate in pet contests, and purchase tickets for the over 40 raffle prizes including gift cards for restaurants, events & experiences, and much more. There will also be a beer garden, featuring Riverside's own, All Points Brewing Company, and a Pop-Up Dog Park.

If you've previously adopted from the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, bring your alumni pets to the Walk and receive a special alumni identifier.

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, a 501 (c) non-profit organization founded in 1897, is committed to improving the lives of animals and people. They strive to one day eliminate the needless suffering and abuse of homeless and unwanted animals.
