Foshee is a 6'4, 295 lb offensive lineman. During his time at OBU, he played right tackle but is versatile to play any position on the line. Jake attended his pro day, where he impressed the scouts who were in attendance, more specifically the Argonauts. In addition to his massive frame, his speed and agility were key signing traits for Toronto. Jake has proven to be a skilled weapon on-the field and will be a valued addition to the team in the upcoming season. "Signing with the Argonauts is a huge blessing and accomplishment for me. I have always wanted to play professional football at a high level and this is my opportunity to show everyone that I can do just that. I can't wait to get on that field and begin my future with Toronto. I hope to have a long and productive future with the Argonauts!" The Toronto Argonauts are a professional Canadian football team competing in the East Division of the CFL. The team was founded in 1873 and is the oldest existing professional sports team in North America still using its original name. The Argonauts have won the Grey Cup a record 17 times and have appeared in the final 23 times. Most recently they defeated the Calgary Stampeders in the 105th Grey Cup in 2017. Currently, the Argonauts are led by Head Coach Ryan Dinwiddle since 2018. In 2021, the Canadian Football League had 9 active teams; BC Lions, Edmonton Elks, Calgary Stampeders, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, Ottawa Redblacks, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. They are divided into two divisions, East and West. Winnipeg Blue Bombers won the last Grey Cup in 2021 over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33-25. The CFL season kicks off in June and lasts until September.
