Follow on Google News | ![]() American Charity Awards $6,700 Grant to Help Shelter Ugolyok in Lviv, UkraineThe Flying Dog Foundation raised the funds to help the Ukranian animal sanctuary in a time of war.
After carefully researching animal shelters in Ukraine, the Foundation chose to support Shelter Ugoyok in Lviv. "The shelter staff have remained and are committed to staying in place, taking in animals left behind or in need of protection," Shelter Ugolyok has under their protection dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs, goats and other farm animals. As others evacuate the country, Shelter Ugolyok's staff are still taking in animals left behind, either surrendered at their doors or found in the streets. To date, The Flying Dog Foundation has raised and awarded over $6,700 to Shelter Ugolyok. The Foundation's fundraising efforts for the shelter continue, with additional funding on the way. 100% of all funds raised in the name of Shelter Ugolyok gets to the shelter.
