American Charity Awards $6,700 Grant to Help Shelter Ugolyok in Lviv, Ukraine

The Flying Dog Foundation raised the funds to help the Ukranian animal sanctuary in a time of war.
PISCATAWAY, N.J. - April 14, 2022 - PRLog -- There are times when dogs and other animals, along with their human protectors, are in such horrific circumstances that it demands our attention. Right now, it's the on-the-ground nightmare unfolding in Ukraine. The Flying Dog Foundation, a 501(c)(3) registered US charity, is compelled to help.

After carefully researching animal shelters in Ukraine, the Foundation chose to support Shelter Ugoyok in Lviv.

"The shelter staff have remained and are committed to staying in place, taking in animals left behind or in need of protection," explains The Flying Dog Foundation president, Jacqueline Howard. In turn, they are in need of funding for food, vital supplies, and veterinary care, all while prices are skyrocketing. Informs Howard, "Costs have escalated due to the dangers posed by the war and overwhelming supply chain disruptions. The money we've raised for them will help them to meet this financial challenge."

Shelter Ugolyok has under their protection dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs, goats and other farm animals. As others evacuate the country, Shelter Ugolyok's staff are still taking in animals left behind, either surrendered at their doors or found in the streets.

To date, The Flying Dog Foundation has raised and awarded over $6,700 to Shelter Ugolyok. The Foundation's fundraising efforts for the shelter continue, with additional funding on the way. 100% of all funds raised in the name of Shelter Ugolyok gets to the shelter. Every penny is making a difference.

Donations to The Flying Dog Foundation are tax deductible for US taxpayers. To make a donation on behalf of Shelter Ugolyok, folks may kindly donate here:
