POPLAR GROVE, Ill. - April 12, 2022 - PRLog -- Poplar Grove, Illinois publisher Tales of Wonder and Dread will unleash a collection of vampire tales on May 3rd. "Life Blood Two: More Vampire Tales" will be the follow-up to 2018's original "Life Blood" collection.

Dan Klefstad, the author of "Fiona's Guardians" said this about the book, "A vampire saves the Beatles. Another convinces ancient tribesmen that he is a god. A human treats a patient who's been bitten and turned. Welcome to 'Life Blood Two: More Vampire Tales,' a new collection of fiction and folk histories about exsanguination, exhumation, transfusion, and trickery. We also travel back to ancient Greece for an origin story about these bloodthirsty nocturnals. The authors in this anthology can't guarantee that crosses and garlic will protect you. But their words will prompt you to think twice about venturing out at night – or not scattering a suspected revenant's ashes."

"Life Blood Two: More Vampire Tales" features six fiction stories from Gary Hill and one each from Bill Camp, Del Merritt and R.C. Mulhare along with seven non-fiction storied from Gary Hill, two from Rick Hale and one each from Diane Hill and Mike Korn. A classic vampire story from Bram Stoker rounds it out.The book will be available at lulu.com/spotlight/strangesound and GaryHillAuthor.com.
