At WyHy's Two Free Document Destruction DaysEveryone is invited to join us for some FREE document Spring Cleaning at our Document Destruction Days at all three WyHy branches in Cheyenne, Casper and Green River. The Casper Branch event will take place on Friday, April 15th from 9 am - 12 pm, at 1521 Centennial Court . The Cheyenne branch event is scheduled for April 16th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at 1715 Stillwater Ave. The Green River event will take place on April 16th at 131 E. Railroad St from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. WyHy is hosting this free community event as part of its commitment to helping consumers protect themselves against identity theft and fraud. Residents are advised to destroy all documents containing personal information, such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, PINs, passwords, home addresses, or birthdates. WyHy is partnering with Shred-it to securely shred documents on-site. Attendees can stay in their cars while Shred-it personnel safely dispose of their personal documents in the shred truck. Participants may bring up to two bankers boxes of personal documents to be safely shredded at the branches. Items that are eligible to be shredded include: • Account statements• Credit reports • Cancelled checks• Pay stubs • ATM receipts• Credit card and utility bills Materials that will not be accepted include batteries, flammables, combustibles, electronic equipment (hard drives), and media materials (DVDs, CDs, and tapes). We also recommend that you do not include binder clips and metal items, thick folders or portfolios, sharp objects, or cardboard tubes in with your documents to be shredded.
