Cheri's HazelCream Cooking Challenge to be held April 27th

The event will benefit culinary students at local community college
BEND, Ore. - April 7, 2022 - PRLog -- RCP Foods LLC, makers of Cheri's HazelCream®, is pleased to announce the "Cheri's HazelCream Cooking Challenge" to be held April 27th 2022, 3-7 PM at the Cascade Culinary Institute® (CCI) on the campus of Central Oregon Community College in Bend Oregon.

Based on a hybrid of popular TV cooking competitions, the event will feature teams of top culinary students from the CCI Culinary Club, preparing appetizers, main dishes, and desserts in a culinary battle to be the best. The twist is that all dishes will feature Cheri's HazelCream®, a dairy free milk substitute made with Oregon Hazelnuts. A panel of three will judge each dish based on a combination of taste, best use of Cheri's HazelCream and plating. Over $1000 in cash and other valuable awards will be distributed to the winning teams of students and the Culinary Club.

To accommodate COVID capacity restrictions the event will be live-streamed. Details on the live stream links will be released in the days prior to the competition.
