Los Angeles Senior Citizens Bible Study Group Raising Funds for Ukrainian Refugees

MISSION HILLS, Calif. - April 6, 2022 - PRLog -- A local senior citizens group from Los Angeles, CA is raising funds for Ukrainian refugees. The project coordinator says that: "According to the Bible we are our brothers' keepers and we are supposed to feed those who are hungry. This is what inspired us to raise funds for the Ukraine refugees."

We see the pictures of the survivors in grief — faces of war, the eternal story: Rocked by weeks of unrelenting bombardment, Mariupol's inhabitants struggle for food, water, shelter, medical supplies and basic necessities. Another city has only 10–14 days of food left. Some residents in towns occupied by Russian troops say they haven't eaten in days. Ukraine's neighboring countries are still struggling to find food and shelter for 3.8 million refugees, so in addition to getting funds to provide food, water and shelter in these countries. We at Aid for Ukraine Emergency Fund headquarters are starting a second fundraiser which will supply food and arrange homes/shelters to the lucky few who reached the US-Mexican border recently.
