The Children's Healing Institute Steps Out to Help Kids

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - March 30, 2022 - PRLog -- West Palm Beach, FL-   April is Child Abuse Prevention month and The Children's Healing Institute is doing its part to 'to step out for kids' by educating the community and raising awareness.  On April 25^th, Sasha Joseph Neulinger, Emmy nominated documentarian and founder of Voice for The Kids, will be the Keynote presenter at the Institute's sold out Turn on the Light National Conference on the Wellbeing of Children & Families. This one-day conference brings together parents, volunteers and professionals concerned with the welfare of children and families. "Close to 900 children enter the Foster-Care system in Florida each month. If we want to change that number and make an impact, we need to work with the parents," stated Sandy Munoz, CEO of The Children's Healing Institute. "For more than 35 years The Children's Healing Institute has been dedicated to building capable, more confident parents, so that children can grow up in a warm, loving, and safe environment.

From April 15th-30th, the local non-profit will be holding its virtual walk to support its family programs aimed at building capable, more confident parents. Anyone can join in by signing up at www.turnonthelight.org and sharing their steps!
