Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia honours 27 awardees at the first-ever SEBA 2022 Northern Edition

BAYAN LEPAS, Malaysia - March 28, 2022 - PRLog -- PENANG – Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia has successfully hosted the first-ever Northern edition of the SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards (SEBA) 2022 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, in the presence of the guest of honour – Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato' Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi bin Haji Abdul Razak and VVIP – YB Dato' Haji Abdul Halim bin Haji Hussain, Penang State EXCO for Trade, Industry, and Entrepreneur Development.

As SEBA has expanded to the SEBA 2022: RISE UP concept, branching out to the Northern, Southern, and KL Grand Central editions, the Northern edition saw an overwhelming response, receiving nearly 200 applications from industry leaders; out of which, 27 were nominated to claim the prestigious award at the grand gala event. These SMEs and entrepreneurs come from a multitude of industries including Education, Hospitality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Healthcare, etc.

YB Dato Halim in his speech applauded Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia's effort in bringing the SME and Entrepreneurs Business Awards to the Northern region, especially after the difficult time of Covid-19 pandemic that hit the nation. He then urges entrepreneurs to focus on continuous learning, improve the overall skills of employees and in turn, improve the overall income level of Penang.
