Rachel Corsini Signs a One-Book Deal with Creative James Media

PASADENA, Md. - March 21, 2022 - PRLog -- Creative James Media, a small press located in Pasadena, Maryland, announced it has signed author Rachel Corsini for her debut Women's Fiction/Steamy Romance novel, Sushi and Sea Lions.

When a career-ending injury sends prima ballerina Daniela Verdi back to Queens, she fills her days with countless distractions, from meaningless sex to video games. It isn't until she runs into Vincent LaBate at her brother's birthday party, that she remembers who she was before the stage lights and distractions of the Upper West Side. Vincent could never love a girl like her; broken, imperfect, and stumbling her way through life. What Daniela didn't count on was Vincent being as broken as her and reminding her that the dream life isn't the dream after all. It's up to Daniela to decide to love her imperfect self and what her happily ever after will look like. This title will be available across ebook platforms and as a paperback in May 2023.

About Rachel Corsini

After declaring herself a pretty pink princess during her first ballet class, Rachel dreamt of sugarplums and began pirouetting her way through life. While studying to become a ballerina, she compulsively read books under her covers by flashlight and scribbled in spiral-bound notebooks. The urge to tell stories culminated in her graduation from Columbia College Chicago with a B.F.A. in fiction writing. Never one to keep er feet on the ground, she traveled the world from Prague to Cape Town. Once settled back in Queens, she dabbled in journalism before working as an Editorial Assistant for a medical publisher. Seeking a more fulfilling career, she earned her MAT from Queens College and currently works as an English teacher in an alternative program in NYC. Rachel spends her time sipping coffee, trying to cook, and caring for her judgmental geriatric cat. She currently resides in Freeport, Long Island.
