WaterField's Cycling Tote Acts as a Cycling Checklist and Keeps Gear Clean and Organized

WaterField introduces the Cycling Tote, a custom carryall with two pairs of vertical pockets to separate cycling shoes and water bottles from other cycling gear and after-ride clothes. In durable ballistic nylon or waxed canvas, the Tote keeps cyclists organized to and from destination rides.

SAN FRANCISCO - March 22, 2022 - PRLog -- WaterField Designs introduces the Cycling Tote—a sturdy carryall for cyclists that keeps water bottles upright and dirty cycling shoes separated from post-ride clothes, extra layers, a helmet, snacks, and additional cycling accessories. With peak riding season approaching, the new Cycling Tote lets riders head out to the start of their ride with the peace of mind that everything they need for and after their ride is organized and ready to go.

"Although some of my rides start from my house, my most memorable ones are when I drive to meet cycling buddies at a cool destination for a change of scenery," said company owner and avid cyclist Gary Waterfield. "The cycling tote acts like my cycling equipment checklist. I pack everything for my ride — including extra cycling clothes in case of a change in weather — and what I'll need afterward. After a great ride, I change into my shorts and T-shirt, cover my helmet-hair with a hat, and toss my gear into the cycling bag."

Constructed from rugged, water-resistant ballistic nylon or waxed canvas, the tote thoughtfully stores cycling gear in a way that makes sense for cyclists. Four custom-sized interior pockets — two on each side of the bag — stow a pair of cycling shoes and two water bottles. These dedicated pockets keep dirty, oily cycling shoes from staining clothing and other gear and keep water bottles upright so even if they leak a bit, everything else stays dry. The Tote's easy-to-load main compartment is ideal for storing a set of post-ride clothes, extra layers in case of changing weather conditions, gloves, a helmet, and sunglasses. Two exterior side pockets provide easy access to energy bars and chews on one side and the WaterField Jersey Pocket Tool Case on the other. Keys, wallet, and phone are secure and easy to access from a front, zippered pocket.

  • Two water-bottle pockets keep bottles upright to prevent water from leaking onto other gear.
  • Side-by-side cycling shoe pockets keep dirt and grease isolated from other contents.
  • A change of clothes, extra layers, gloves, helmet, sunglasses, and more stack easily into the main compartment.
  • Exterior side pockets keep energy snacks and the WaterField Jersey Pocket Tool Case easy to access.
  • Essentials like keys, wallet, and phone remain secure in a front pocket secured with a waterproof zipper.
  • Long handles fit over the shoulder keeping both hands free to carry or maneuver a bike on the way to the car.
  • A reinforced bottom adds structure to keep the bag upright and helps it sustain the rough and tumble of long-term use.
For cyclists who follow Velominati Rule #31 and like to carry their full tool kit in a jersey pocket, WaterField offers the Jersey Pocket Tool Case. Cyclists who wish to carry just their phone, keys, ID, and a multi-tool can do so in the Cycling Phone Wallet. The new Cycling Tote joins these and other accessories in the handcrafted WaterField Cycling Collection.
