ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - March 21, 2022 - PRLog -- This week-long virtual event is for families, home visitors, community partners, and legislators who work on behalf of families served by home visiting and early childhood professionals.

The First Born® Home Visiting Symposium takes place from April 4th to 8th in a series of zoom sessions. Learn more about home visiting and participate in fun activities and educational sessions. Topics include benefits of home visiting, family experiences in home visiting, activities to support early childhood development, skills to build resilience and culturally relevant and respectful early childhood practice.

The First Born® Program is based at Santa Fe Community College in Santa Fe. The program is relationship-centered and curriculum-based. Through regular home visits, families identify personal goals, recognize challenges and opportunities for growth and build a healthy, loving, playful relationship with their children.

The First Born® Program supports child development in the areas of social-emotional development, language, literacy, and problem-solving skills. Investing early means better outcomes for children, happier families, and healthier communities.
