Inforce Clothing Presents: Community Pop-up ShopInforce Clothing is for the community-minded individual. In the interest of providing unity through community, our first ever pop-up shop hopes to provide a space for individuals to interact and foster creativity, curiosity, and camaraderie.
The goal of the pop-up is to spark inspiration and create a space for individuals to interact and connect with dreamers from all walks of life. We are featuring Bobby Hall III and Rod Hampton, in addition to a few more special guests. We hope that these creatives' stories of building communities to reach their goals inspires you to do the same. Rod Hampton was born in New York in the '70's and started collecting sneakers as a kid. In the mid '80's he started deconstructing, repainting, and reimagining the iconic Puma Clyde, Patrick Ewing Adidas, Nike Hurrache, and his favorites, the Jordan 2's. He'd remix them, then flip them, selling them to his friends in high school. In his latest series, UTILITY DEFECTS, Rod re-imagines their functionality, transforming them into bionic mechanisms that can move you and transport you as far as your dreams will take you. This work is particularly timely, contributing to the Black Diaspora through the lens of profound global unrest resulting from social and racial injustice. "UTILITY DEFECTS" is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Rod's time working at a popular NYC printing company, servicing the hottest nightclubs of the early 90's. Bobby Hall III is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and bandleader born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. His passion and love of music started at the age of 2, when he began playing drums for his church, and has been cultivated since, having taught himself to play piano, Hammond organ, and bass guitar, as well. Bobby Hall III has shared the stage with artists such as India Arie and Cee-Lo Green, and has collaborated with Grammy-award winning artist, Tia Fuller, during his time at Berklee. Since graduating, Bobby has formed a collective of musicians by the name of "TBA", which composes and arranges music ranging from a myriad of musical genres, using an avant-garde approach. Through "TBA", Bobby aspires to bridge the gap between music and community. Inforce Clothing is a brand based on collaboration. In this day and age, people push out the idea of individuality but fail to show the people that support them in the background. We are striving for unity through community.
