Christopher Watters, CEO and Founder of Watters International Realty, says he attributes this success largely to the shift in luxury homes and abandoning Zillow Offers. Despite the number of transactions falling 34% year over year, Watters assisted the team grow closed sales volume by 5 percent.

"Our reduction in transactions came from not representing any Zillow-owned homes in 2021," Watters told Austin Business Journal. "Our growth in sales volume is largely due to capturing a greater slice of the luxury market, where we've been creating a lot of home runs for sellers of high-end homes."
