Both webinars are designed and facilitated by Dr. James Bell III, the principal founder of Just Solutions LLC, which produces the Equity Matters Podcast, and the Social Justice Academy. Dr. Bell has developed a practice and research trajectory in health disparities and inequities, emphasizing the policy context and health outcomes of African Americans. He earned his bachelor's in psychology and Master of Social Work from Michigan State University and Doctor of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California with a focus on the intersection of race, racism, and health. Dr. Bell has been recognized as a thought leader in the areas of health inequities and disparities, social justice, and social innovation and has presented broadly on these topics. His passion for this work is evident in his personal, academic and professional life.
