February 2022: Growth In Sales Of Cars

The supply constraints have persisted into the past two months of 2022 as well. We expect production and timely deliveries to be affected. Maruti Suzuki was again the best performer in sales in February 2022. In February 2021, retail sales totaled 1,20,896 units, a decline from the 1,02,653 units sold last month.
It caused a drop in market share from 43.11 percent to 43.11% in February over 46.80% in February 2021. Hyundai India was in second place with 35,542 retail sales last month. It is down from 17.26% to 14.93%.
