HARTFORD / WATERBURY, Conn. - March 5, 2022 - PRLog -- Connecticut-based non-profit, Maidan United is pleased to announce that Raytheon Technologies will match its employee's donations.

"We are so thrilled to see the outpouring of support to help Ukrainians in need. It's humbling to see that Raytheon Technologies has taken an interest in supporting Maidan United as we raise money and collect medical supplies to send to Ukraine. Raytheon Technologies has agreed to an employee match through their EmpowerU donation platform. We know their generosity will go a long way in helping Ukrainians in crisis," said Sofia Dumansky, President and Co-Founder of Maidan United.

Maidan United was founded in 2014 when Russia invaded Ukraine. Since 2014, we've raised over $500,000 USD in donations and medical equipment. All donations have gone toward helping civilians impacted by Russia's attacks on Ukraine.

"We work with local contacts and organizations in and around Ukraine to get them access to medical equipment and supplies. Since the war began we've been fielding requests for specific medical items from hospitals and other volunteer organizations. We continue to have an urgent need for tourniquets, blood clotting powder, chest seals, and Israeli bandages," she continued.
