TVS has been acquiring legacy record labels since 1987 and now owns more than 50 such labels. TVS also has been producing music and music videos since 1987. TVS properties include the Rock & Roll Legends Live Series, The Sunset Strip Classic Rock Series, Senior Prom, Midnight Refrain, and the Capehart Music Treasury. TVS produced the first Hooked On Big Bands album in the 1980's, which was released on their Victory Records label. The vaunted series was subsequently sold to K Tel Records.
TVS was founded as the TVS Radio Network in 1958 and added independent TV syndication to the company in 1960. In 1987 TVS was acquired by Combined Artists Company, which was a seminal cable TV production and syndication company. Today, TVS Global Media produces and distributes audio, video, and text programming on a worldwide basis, and is a major streamer of video with it's 40 channel streaming service on WatchYour.TV.
The TVS Associated Artists label is comprised of 15,000 songs by more than 1,000 major artists of the 20th Century. The songs are being repackaged into theme related compilations from each of the major eras of popular American recorded music.
