subdron Presents Autonomous Inspection of Underwater Structures with Highest Resolution at OI London

By: subdron GmbH

LONDON - March 4, 2022 - PRLog -- From March 15 – 17, Austrian based subdron GmbH uses Oceanology International in London as the ideal platform, to demonstrate their groundbreaking technical developments in high precision AUV operations to major decision makers at port authorities and maritime service suppliers. The autonomous and cost efficient system p.dron is ideally suited for autonomous port infrastructure inspections. Due to proprietary relative object navigation (RON), it enables fully autonomous underwater inspection missions in very close distance. The p.dron RON is integrated on a lightweight IQUA underwater vehicle but it can be transferred to other platforms as well.

The subdron core team consists of European experts in underwater robotics. In addition with their colleagues from the fields of hardware architecture, sonar technology and data processing, they have a common goal in mind and turn it into action: The autonomous collection of underwater survey data – independently of visibility and up to depth of 200m – being processed and prepared exactly as required by the client.
Visit subdron at Oceanology International at stand A505 for a closer look at state-of-the art technologies and get to know the team that drives these developments forward.
