Co-hosted by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, the Virginia Department of Energy, Appalachian Voices and the West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Centers at West Virginia University, anyone interested in commercial solar development is invited to register and attend the year's most substantive, enriching and inspiring solar energy development event.

A limited number of discounted 'early bird' tickets are now available, with specially priced public sector tickets available to nonprofit, institutional and government professionals.

Landowners with potential solar sites and schools with potential rooftops are highly encouraged to attend and may register their potential project to receive complimentary tickets to attend the entire conference. Potential residential rooftop projects, however, are not encouraged to participate.

Respected as the region's premier commercial-scale solar power development conference, attendees can expect the highest class of educational programming. Focused on commercial projects, land use issues and utility-scale solar projects, spotlight topics this year include: solar redevelopment, mine-land reclamation, pro-pollinator development, workforce development, environmental justice and solar for schools.

Attendees can also expect an uncommon caliber of networking opportunity, including the Solar Exchange, a fast-paced round robin networking activity connecting participants in brief face-to-face meetings, with a special feature matching public & private sector landowners with solar developers. In all, to make up for time lost to the pandemic, expanded networking will provide a total of 12 official networking activities over 3 days at multiple venues in the beautiful downtown of the host city of Richmond, Virginia.
