A boost for businesses as 'Walk 'n talk' business networking starts at top private estate
Natural Netwalking will begin monthly networking walks at the beautiful Wormsley Estate in the Chilterns
By: Positively Media
The events will begin on March 9th after the organisers were granted privileged access to walk on the estate, famed for its unspoiled Chiltern landscapes and for being one of the earliest locations where Red Kites were first reintroduced to England.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be coming to Wormsley," co-founder Jackie Jarvis said. "We already have walks at Waddesdon Manor and Blenheim Palace, which are both amazing places, but Wormsley is a private estate, so it is much rarer to be able to walk on the estate and see its hidden world. "Walking on the estate is normally limited to bridleways and public footpaths, but as partners with the Wormsley Estate, Natural Netwalking will following routes and pathways on areas of the estate where access is normally restricted. Wormsley is also opening up its famous Walled Garden for the group to begin and end their walks and will be serving tea and coffee there.
Anne-Marie Payne, part of the Events team at Wormsley said: "We are delighted to welcome local businesses to meet, walk, be inspired and forge the kinds of connections that can make all the difference to them. We are pleased to help Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire businesses to prosper."
"This is a quintessentially English estate, and one of the gems of the Chilterns. There are very few visible traces of the 20th or 21st centuries to spoil the view. It has become a regular filming location and our estate team is careful to maintain its unique character."
Dawn Lillington of Natural Netwalking said it is a walk that will change with the seasons: "People coming on this walk will really notice the changes each month. We will be changing the route and exploring different areas of the estate too, so there is a lot to look forward to." The walks will take in the deer park, cricket pitch, and the art and opera pavilions.
"Talking whilst walking together changes how much more people share and exchange. It is nice hearing great conversations during our 3-mile walks. I think that by walking here in Wormsley we can expect some great relationships to develop."
