Author J.T. Grainger Releases Two New Kindle Vella Series, 'Night Sheen' & 'The Joyriders'

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - March 1, 2022 - PRLog -- A week-long hospital stay, a worldwide pandemic and a cross country move hasn't stopped author J.T. Grainger from launching TWO new fantasy series on Kindle Vella. Originally from Indianapolis, the Midwest native moved to the West Coast last year to live closer to his adult children and wound up being hospitalized with Covid. Since recovering from the illness, he has been hard at work writing and revising two new works that are now available to readers for a limited time exclusively through Amazon's Kindle Vella service.

One of the titles is called 'Night Sheen: The First Black American Superhero' which takes place during the American Civil War and depicts the brutal struggle of a young slave named Nat Clayhorne who suffers great loss and is given miraculous abilities. The second title is called 'The Joyriders: Epic Adventures Through Time,' which Grainger says, "...is a lighthearted teen comedy that combines all the best elements of old films like Back to the Future, Weird Science, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and House Party and places them in a modern setting."

Both titles are not intended for children and contain adult language. Some episodes may also contain graphic violence and adult themes.

So far, Grainger has posted six episodes for each story. However, he plans to release additional episodes every month until both tales reach their conclusion. "I have both stories mapped out pretty well," he says. "I know how they're going to end. But as each one starts to take shape, I want readers to feel like they're a part of the process, too. I just think it elevates the experience more."
