Horror Movie Talk To Launch Kiggins' Cult of Horror, a Fun and Educational Series of Horror Films

Every fourth Friday from March to June 2022, Horror Movie Talk podcast will present a horror film in a uniquely fun cult-like atmosphere at historic Kiggins Theatre in Downtown Vancouver, WA.

VANCOUVER, Wash. - March 1, 2022 - PRLog -- Vancouver, WA – Horror Movie Talk, an opinionated and accidentally funny horror movie review podcast based in Vancouver, WA, is launching Kiggins' Cult of Horror, a special series of entertaining and educational horror film screenings from March - June at Kiggins Theatre, Vancouver's beloved historic downtown movie theater.

What sets these showings apart from a normal night at the movies will be the unique fun, cult-like atmosphere featuring a town crier, film introductions, cult "rituals", and an atmosphere charged with comedy.

Lovers of horror film are invited to build a horror movie appreciation community in Vancouver WA by attending and inviting like-minded individuals to "join the cult".

The series will show four classic and modern classic horror movies:
  • March 25 – The Exorcist, William Friedkin's revolutionary possession film, that terrified parent the world over.
  • April 22 – The 'Burbs, Joe Dante's cult classic featuring Tom Hanks lead a band of nosey neighbors uncover the mystery behind the new neighbors.
  • May 27 – The Fly, David Cronenberg's 1986 body-horror classic starring Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis.
  • June 24 – Hereditary, Ari Aster's modern horror hit starring Toni Collette and Gabriel Byrne dealing with family tragedy and demonic influences.

Kiggins Theatre is located at 1011 Main Street in downtown Vancouver, WA. Doors open at 9:00pm and pre-show starts at 9:30. The movie start time will vary depending on the levels of cult activity that takes place each evening. Tickets cost $11 in advance at kigginstheatre.com and $12 at the door the day of the show.
