Follow on Google News | The Authors Of The Little Black Book Of Success Take To Social Media To Inspire Women Of ColorBy: Pr2Politics As co-authors Marsha Haygood, Elaine Meryl Brown and Rhonda Joy McLean wanted to celebrate in an innovative way where they can reach their audience. They wanted to provide practical advice that can serve as support and mentorship to the next generation of black women at every level of work and life. The social media graphics the authors push and promote on their social media platforms serve as sparknotes for the advice provided in their book, which offers invaluable insight for black women who seek guidance on how to get to the next level. When asked why they decided to use their social media platforms as a form of mentorship, the co-authors said the following, "When we first wrote our book, our goal was to have an impact on as many women of color as possible . We curated book signings and events across the country. However, once the pandemic began it put a halt on our plan. We had to quickly think of the best way to still empower women, even more so during these troubling times. We began doing more virtual events and coaching, and now in honor of Black History Month we have used our social media to push the messages we would usually share in person for women to take in and share with others. We hope this is an initiative we can continue to push, even as in-person events return. Our goal is to propel and help as many black women as possible enhance their professional and personal lives." www.facebook.com/ End
