NOIDA, India - Feb. 19, 2022 - PRLog -- Union Budget 2022-23 will induce Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability said Prof. Aman Agarwal, Director & Professor, Indian Institute of Finance while delivering Guest of Honour Plenary Keynote Address on "Deciphering Union Budget 2022 : Implications for Common Man" at Haryana Commerce and Management Association, Kurukshetra University, Haryana recently.

According to Prof. Agarwal, Budget 2022 will add wings to the economic growth and development post Covid-19 with the digital revolution in agriculture, healthcare, education, employment, MSMEs, banking, post offices, and all spheres of Government functioning.

Budget announcements focus on Macro-economic level growth and micro economic level Inclusive welfare the Bharat of tomorrow and will induce employment, financial development and ease inflationary pressures feels Prof. Agarwal.

Prof. Agarwal emphasised that the GDP growth of 9.2% is the highest amongst world economies at the backdrop of COVID 19, vaccination drive and controlled fiscal deficit at 6.9%. According to him, the budget proposals will increase employment to double of pre-covid levels; increase income of agriculturists; increase production capacity; enhance India's global competitiveness while keeping inflation under control within a band of 4.5% to 5.5 %.
