Connecticut Children's Received Notable Donation From Michaels Jewelers' Customer Events
By: Michaels Jewelers
Connecticut Children's received the cards along with Valentine-themed pop-it toys for patients, which Alyssa Horrall, Connecticut Children's Foundation Director of Corporate Relations, reported were "especially popular with children in the Emergency Department."
Photographed presenting the donations to Ms. Horrall was DeAnna Syner, Michaels Jewelers Director of Marketing (r).
"We are truly grateful to Michaels Jewelers for showing their love for Connecticut Children's patients," continued Horrall. "Together, we will continue to meet the medical, emotional, and social health needs of our patients and their families." Michaels Jewelers, one of Connecticut's biggest names in retail, pledged $10 from every in-store purchase of $50 or more made between February 4 and 14 to benefit patients and families at Connecticut Children's.
Michaels Jewelers also invited purchasing customers in their ten stores in Bristol, Canton, Danbury, Farmington, Manchester, Meriden, Norwalk, Orange, Waterbury, and Westfield Trumbull to sign Valentine's Day cards that were displayed at each store. These cards were given to provide joy to families and healthcare heroes at Connecticut Children's.
