PRLog -- The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts, David Volosin Katz, founder and chief judge, announced on Monday, February 14th the National Semi-Finalist choruses in all categories. Among the list of choruses throughout the nation, the Jacksonville Children's Chorus: Darren Dailey, President and Artistic Director was selected as a 2022 National Semi-Finalist for Choral Performance in the youth division!
The American Prize is a prestigious national competition that evaluates and rewards the best performers, ensembles, composers, and administrators in the United States. The competition is separated into categories based on age group or education level. The evaluations are done by a panel of distinguished judges in the performing arts. Evaluation of performers is based solely on submitted recorded performances.
Finalists, runners-up, and winners from the selected list of semi-finalists will be announced in the coming months.
