By: Rain City Relief The record is part of a project by The Reef and Seattle World Tour Foundation to raise $100,000 to provide direct financial support to Seattle artists who continue to be impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. So far, $35,000 has been raised. "We are very thankful to the Seattle business community for stepping up to help bring much-needed relief to artists," said Adam Simon, CEO of The Reef. "We especially want to thank Pearl Jam's Vitalogy Foundation (https://pearljam.com/ The availability of the album in retail stores was celebrated this weekend at a packed launch party at Easy Street Records in West Seattle with performances by Ariana DeBoo, Beverly Crusher and All Star Opera. First support checks of $2,500 were handed out to artists at the event. "Receiving $2,500 from Rain City Relief this past weekend comes at such a critical point in our band's journey. We are currently hyper focused on writing and recording our sophomore album. These funds will allow us to push forward and complete the project in a timely manner," said All Star Opera's Tylee Toyoda. Next up, Rain City Relief is hosting an Auction and Sweepstakes which will be held starting at 12.00 AM Tuesday, February 15 and ending Thursday at midnight.
