St. Louis Jewish Book Festival February 27 Events

ST. LOUIS - Feb. 15, 2022 - PRLog -- The St. Louis Jewish Book Festival, a program of the J will present two, unique "Bookend" events on Sunday, February 27:

Dean Robbins          February 27 at 1:00pm          The J in Creve Coeur*          Free

St. Louis native and children's nonfiction author Dean Robbins joins the J and the St. Louis County Library for a program featuring his latest title, Thank You, Dr Salk: The Scientist Who Beat Polio and Healed the World. Recommended for ages 5-10, this free program will take place in the Performing Arts Center at the Staenberg Family Complex at 1 pm on Sunday, February 27. Sam Cohen          February 27 at 7:00pm          MaTovu*          $20

The J and MaTovu are teaming up to bring Sam Cohen, finalist for the Golden Poppy Award, and her book Sarahland, to St. Louis. Join us at 4200 Blaine Avenue on Sunday, February 27 at 7 pm for drinks, appetizers, and an author talk. "Queer, dirty, insightful, and so funny," (Andrea Lawlor), this coyly revolutionary debut story collection imagines new origins and futures for its cast of unforgettable protagonists—almost all of whom are named Sarah. Tickets are $20 and include a copy of the book!
